There’s a version of Thanksgiving no one talks about.

The one where you’re grateful — truly —
but your mind is still carrying the weight of everything you lead, manage, hold, and hope for.

Where you love your family deeply,
but you’re also the one who orchestrates the day, sets the tone, carries the emotional load,
and makes sure everyone else feels cared for.

Where gratitude is real…
but so is the exhaustion that comes with being the woman everyone relies on.

This isn’t the “holiday burnout” people joke about.
This is the mental load that high-performing women quietly carry every single day —
and holidays amplify it.

If that’s you this season, hear this:

You’re not failing because you feel stretched.
You’re not ungrateful because it feels heavy.
You’re not disconnected because you need a moment to breathe.

You’re human.
You’re leading.
You’re holding more than most people will ever understand.

And you’re allowed to honor all of it today —
the gratitude and the weight,
the joy and the fatigue,
the love and the longing for just one moment where you get to exhale.

This Thanksgiving, I’m grateful for women like you —
the ones who hold families, teams, businesses, and entire atmospheres together.
The ones who show up with heart, strength, and grace even when no one sees the cost.

You deserve space.
You deserve peace.
You deserve support.
And you deserve a season that finally gives back to you.

Happy Thanksgiving.
Take a moment for yourself today.
You’re allowed.

Forward This to a Friend

If this message spoke to you, it will speak to another woman in your world.

Someone who looks strong… but feels stretched thin.
Someone who leads others… but is losing herself.
Someone craving confidence rooted in truth, not pressure.

Forward this to her.

You never know — your share might be the moment she finally feels seen, supported, and ready to rebuild with faith.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
